Cat Condo Reviews
A cat condo can be used for more things then you know. It can be used as a bed for your cat, a play area for your kitty cats, and with some kitty condos it can be used to groom there nails for some have scratching posts built in.
Before you purchase a cat condo know exactly where you are going to put this condo in your home. The reason why I say that is because once you go shopping you will see that there are so many different kinds with all different shapes and sizes. I am talking from experience.
When we went out to get our “boys” there cat condo, we had no idea how tall they were, how many landings that were available, built in tunnels, colors, toys that were attached. It was a total learning experience for us, but fun.
Kitty Condos – So Many to Choose From
We purchased what we thought would be the best cat condo on the market. It had four tiers of landings that the cats could go onto. Two looked like cat beds, one was a tunnel that we thought would be great for playing and the other two were covered in rope that we thought would be great for grooming there own nails.

Well, this was the biggest mistake that ended up being returned. When we brought it into the house it was way too tall to put in the corner where we were thinking it would go. The reason was they would be able to jump from the top landing of the cat condo onto a small ledge in our window that was at least 20 feet up (we have really high ceilings in our house).
The next mistake was how the tiers were set up. Our cats at the time of purchasing this condo were still trying to adjust to each other. Our Tonk has been with us for 6 years and kinda ruled the house. We then brought into our family this cute Weegie who was only 1 year old and had a mind of is own. In other words he had no clue of what his boundries were. So with the top landing it was the fighting platform of who was going to win and sleep on top. I’m sure that if we gave it time that they would have adjusted, but there was too much stress on everyone, so we returned it for a different set up.
We then found this great kitty condo with three landings in the shape of cat beds with one toy hanging and the bottom of the posts have rope for them to scratch on. I also loved the paw print on each landing. We didn’t want any tunnels, just places for them to relax and sleep. After searching and knowing our cats personalities we purchased the right one for our kitty cats.
